MURRIETA, Riverside County — November 4, 2026. Voters in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District are narrowly divided over Measure M, a school-facilities bond proposal on the November 3 ballot.
Preliminary numbers from the county
Early Riverside County figures show 50.53% No and 49.47% Yes. That is a difference of 1.06 percentage points among votes counted as of early November 4.
What these early results mean
The legal approval threshold and the final disposition must be evaluated against the official measure rules after the canvass. These figures establish only that No led in the initial tally, not a certified outcome.
Riverside County reported that election-night counting had finished while an estimated 485,000 vote-by-mail ballots and 11,000 conditional-registration ballots remained to be counted countywide. Those countywide totals do not specify how many ballots are still outstanding in this particular contest. Check the registrar’s latest posting for changes before concluding who won or whether a measure passed.
